| General Description: These secluded fireplace cottages in scenic Wayah Valley are nestled along picturesque Wayah Creek, under the towering shade canopy of hardwoods, graceful dogwoods and rhododendrons. From each cottage you can view the creek and hear the soothing sound of rushing water. Directly behind the cottages is Muskrat Ridge, and in front of them is 5342 foot high Wayah Bald, with the Appalachian and Bartram trails on top. Hiking trails abound on this Mountain Waters Scenic Byway SR1310, known as Wayah Road.
